Our Mission

At DIG-IT, INC. it is our mission to serve with INTEGRITY, while we present ourselves PROFESSIONALLY; remaining KNOWLEDGABLE and FRIENDLY. We will be RESPECTFUL and PROMPT in completing our jobs. While providing best in class SERVICE.

What is Horizontal Directional Drilling?

Horizontal Directional Drilling otherwise known as HDD, Directional Drilling, Directional Boring, Horizontal Directional Boring, or Trenchless Technology is the act of installing pipe (PVC, conduit, high-density polyethylene, ductile iron, or steel) underneath the surface of the ground.

The benefits of Horizontal Directional Drilling instead of trenching, or plowing product (conduit or pipe) in to place are:

  1. That Horizontal Directional Drilling technology allows product (see above) to be installed, or travel through HARD ROCK, underneath rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, roads, landscapes, buildings, drive ways, parking lots, decks and much more!
  2. Horizontal Directional Drilling allows God’s beauty to remain instead of overhead power lines, which leaves a more astatically pleasing environment.
  3. CHEAPER! When comparing apples to apples Horizontal Directional Drilling could help save you time and money. Instead of tearing up your expensive landscape, driveway, road, deck or patio why not drill underneath it!
  4. You get to work with a wonderful company like DIG-IT, INC.

What Types of services or industries use Horizontal Directional Drilling?

  1. Telecommunications (telephone companies, internet companies, cell phone towers, etc.)about
  2. Cable Television
  3. Natural Gas Companies
  4. Municipal water and sewer
  5. Fiber Optics (Fiber Networks for Educational or Governmental use)
  6. Geothermal Installation
  7. Electric Companies

*Most likely some if not most of these services run underneath the surface of the ground into your home, business, or school.
